Thinking Your Way To Success: Materializing Your Goals Through The Power of Thought
THOUGHTS are powerful. The power of THOUGHTS cannot be underestimated. What we believe is what we create in our lives. The more we think about something, the more we magnetize it and feed it power. Nothing was ever created in this universe without a THOUGHT preceding it. Before a building is built, the architect thinks about it and envisions it in his mind. He then empowers it and feeds it by bringing his idea or THOUGHT into physical form by drawing the floor plans for it onto paper. He empowers it even more by writing down all of the specifications for the building. He might write down the physical dimensions, the material to be used to build it, the roofing material, the size of each room, the flooring to be used in the construction, the doors, the windows, their sizes, the paint colors, etc. He will create a specification list of every single building material and component that will go into that structure. He usually will create front, back and side elevation views, which are color drawings of what the building will look like when completed. In this way he is creating something which originated in his mind as a THOUGHT, and by writing down and drawing and specifying every possible detail he is participating in the materialization (or the creation into the physical world) of that which was once just a THOUGHT. By thinking through every detail, and planning and consistently putting in hour after hour into this THOUGHT, a real physical structure will become manifested onto the physical plane. Everything that exists in our physical reality began as a THOUGHT. Ponder on that... The FABS are quadruplets; they are not identical but they are very, very similar! The FABS are: Fear, Anger, Blame and Shame. This quartet love to arrive, uninvited, at people's houses and literally stay forever. They will certainly stay as long as you allow them to; they never seem to get tired of hanging around and causing troubles for the unsuspecting host. You Gotta Be Positive! Remember Des'ree? She had a great song out in 1994, entitled 'You Gotta Be'. It was one of the most uplifting, encouraging and energizing songs I'd ever heard. Don't' believe me? Well, here is the chorus: "You Gotta Be Bad, You Gotta Be Bold, You Gotta Be Wiser. You Gotta Be Hard, You Gotta Be Tough, You Gotta Be Stronger. You Gotta Be Cool, You Gotta Be Calm, You Gotta Stay Together. All I Know, All I Know, Love Will Save the Day." Now, repeat that to yourself 10 times (or better yet, buy the CD) and tell me how you feel. Bet you start feeling better. Bet you want to start dancing around the room (especially if you're listening to the CD!). Anger And Your Driving Are you driving under the influence of impaired emotions? I have to admit that at my age, I don't remember the exact title or exactly how the story goes, but I don't recall the idea in the story. The Courage To Succeed! The hardest part of success is the **courage** you need to succeed--when you think: "I'm afraid to talk to people.", or "I'm a loser, nobody in their right mind would follow me.", or "I could never do what he/she does..", or "I'm afraid to talk to people on the telephone..." Change Your Attitude, Change Your Life If we are the products of our attitudes then it is important for us to examine our attitudes, both positive and negative, to discover the impact they are having on our lives. This is even more important if we are determined to maximize the potential that is ours, a potential which, in the vast majority of us, remains grossly underdeveloped.
